! HIPAA Concern
In-portal messaging captures Protected Health Information (PHI). Any patient-to-provider messaging feature falls under HIPAA and requires end-to-end encryption, access controls, audit logging, and a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with any third-party messaging infrastructure. This demo shows the UX concept — production implementation requires a HIPAA-compliant messaging platform, not a standard contact form.
